From February 21st – 6th March is Fairtrade Fortnight, which aims to raise awareness of the importance of supporting Fairtrade producers. St Mary’s is a Fairtrade Church, which aims to support this movement; we also hold a stall every Sunday selling a variety of Fairtrade goods.
The Fairtrade foundation is holding an online festival during this time, providing a whole range of resources to celebrate fairtrade produce and provide information from some of the farmers & producers who benefit from these schemes. These include live streams from some producers, podcasts & discussions with key brands selling fairtrade goods, recipes and online cookery masterclasses using the best of Fairtrade produce, quizzes and more.
